Trigonometry I Have Forgotten, Pt. 1

There have been several reasons why I haven't posted: being on vacation, getting ready for school, trying to figure out how to display math symbols on my blog, and most importantly, recalling some trigonometry that I have forgotten. After working on some problems from Durell and Robson's Advanced Trigonometry,
I went through my math handbooks and realized that I better be familiar with the Law of Tangents, Mollweide's formulas, Newton's formulas, and Heron's formula, before I went any further. I will prove these formulas in my next post.

Hello, world!

Currently, there is a movie out called Julie and Julia. This movie is based on Julie Powell's blog which described her daily experiences while cooking each of the 524 recipes in Julia Child's Mastering the Art of French Cooking. This has inspired me to start this blog. In my blog I will document my experiences while reading some math books. I plan to read the following: Durell and Robson's Advanced Trigonometry, Altshiller-Court's College Geometry and Lighthill's An Introduction to Fourier Analysis and Generalised Functions. I will also post solutions to integrals I come across.
